Let's take a picture with the president...

Dr. Paulson, President of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist World Church, was visiting this weekend; and on several occasions I tried to make contact with him, just to take a little quick picture. Its odd though, because I actually took two pictures for other people, but when it came to my turn I shyed away. Just been feeling really shy lately.

Thank you to Michael DuVall, here are the finally results:

On another note, I met a really cool person this week.

WE WON!!!

WE WON (our first game). Its interesting because all season we loose every single game, and now in the playoffs we won a game. May this not get to our heads.

But the rest of the day included staying up all night doing my Revelation journal, which was due today. Then doing my research paper for Revelation this afternoon, and then going over to the Chung's residence. Man, I love the food there.

Till next time...

Let me experience your Sabbath;
Let me experience your rest.
Help me let go of my worries,
that I may be externally blest.

Lead me closer to you
as I celebrate this time.
Help me remember your covenant,
that I may keep this sign.

Lord, forgive me this week;
but now its you and I.
Let no one take this away;
let this not be goodbye.

Your Asian

Today was a good Bible study. Relationship, it seems to be the subject of desire. So we studied Biblical principles for relationship.

It seems as if the word is true, Malcolm is moving to… can you guess? Well, I’ll put it this way, I was talking to Nathan mentioned that its going to be hard moving there because the living conditions are a bit different.
The places are more expensive then where I live (not TN, but AZ), so I am probably going to be living in this small place, but its okay because I’ll be living alone. Seems like that’s the story of my life, living alone with God.

But what makes things interesting is the comment that he made, “You should be used to it, your Asian.” And I just laughed because I was like, if Asian’s could they would live in large conditions. But I need a little bigger of a place because I know that where I am my mom will visit also, and so will other family. I mean this will be the first time that Malcolm “settles down,” if one could actually say such a thing.

Till next time… keep the faith.

If you can recognize this picture, you will know where I may be moving.

Evangelistic Podcast

This is an excerpt to an e-mail I just sent.

Mrs. Hadley,

I was wondering if you would like me to give your Sabbath School? I will be there on May 4. But only for the weekend. I'm still trying to figure out where I'm staying and what's happening.
But I figured I would give you a few updates. This past weekend I went to the Regional ASI and I was very moved to do full time evangelism. So I talked to Nathan (who's at AUC) and told him that I would be interested in going the work up there. Tonight I'm going to find out the results, but I may be joining them with Mark Finley in Portland, Maine to do evangelistic work from August till December of this year. Afterwards I will help to establish a new church that is built only on the directions of the Bible and counsels of the Spirit of Prophecy. The department is called the Center for Discipleship and Evangelism.
I am very excited and we'll see how the Lord leads. I'll tell you whether or not I got accepted. Please pray about it. Big steps in a little amount of time. In other words I will not go to Germany nor pursue for a doctorate, unless the Lord declares such is necessary for these times, but I will be doing full time evangelism and bring the power and spirit of Elijah back to the Northeast.

What do you think? Any opinions? What do you think about helping start an EGW Research Center if I move up there too? Cause I would like to get on that. Also I'm not sure if you have ever heard of podcasting. Its a little hard for me to explain, but my friend and in in the next two weeks are going to start the first Evangelistic Podcast ever. We are going to try to get a hold of Mark Finley and such. It will be online, when it goes we will inform of how to watch them if you would like. We are also going to try to get it registered through iTunes that way it will reach worldwide proportions. I'm very excited, the work is finally going "into all the world." We plan on having Biblical messages... so now I'm going to start a revolution of internet evangelism. We have already ordered the necessary equipment and have our own webspace. So now the work will take full swing into online media.

Take care,

Malcolm

Thank You Lord...

Thank you Lord,
You did not cast me aside, but helped me confide
You did not throw me away, but heard me say...

I know you will hear, please take away my fear.
Please forgive my sin, show me where I could have been.
Give me a heart that reaches out, hide me from my doubt.
Lead me in your way right now, but teach me how.
How to do your will, how to climb this hill.
Take me to the top; never let me stop.
Teach me what I ought to do, this I beg of you.
Teach me by your grace; please reveal your pace.
Walk with me by the way, walk with me all the way.

Thank you Lord... Thank you.

Twice as Good

Today I preached my last sermon for Evangelistic Preaching. Praise God! I believe that it went well. It was entitled Make Me Whole. It was on the health message, can you tell that I still want to be a doctor?

During my evaluation, the professor said, “It was excellent. It was good, so it was good. It was short, so it was good. It was good and short, so it was twice as good.” He went on to say, “Though it may not mean much necessarily, you smiled a lot. So you talked to me as a friend.” One person said, “We are supposed to be happy Christians.” I guess I’m getting that down a little better. Praise the Lord, I am much happier that its over.

For the future he gave me some recommendations:
Use a larger font when giving a presentation with a smaller screen. For the presentation in this class it was good. The font was good. But for a larger audience with a smaller screen it would have been hard.
Don’t use the King James. It’s hard to understand.
Work on your appeal.

I need to make Christ more appealing. That’s what can happen when you find out that your preaching two days ago and you loose your Bible. Haha, I did it nearly all from memory. So the only verses that I could use were King James. Praise the Lord though.

Lets see today I still have a few things left:
Soccer practice at 6
Dorm Worship at 7. The last one that I am scheduled to give this year, Where are all the Men?
Soccer game at 8
Dorm Worship at 10. They have dorm worships twice in the evening. So it’s the same topic as above.
