The Substance of Hope

This sermon was preached at the Paradise Valley SDA Church after two events: my uncle's heart surgery and the closing of the Paradise Valley Hospital. As you may notice, it was a tough sermon to preach, especially in front of so many family members.

Higher than the Highest

One year ago about this time I gave a partial testimony of my educational experience over the years. I hope that this message, "Higher than the Highest," will inspire godly excellence and consistence in myself and others. Please let me know what you think. By the way, thank you to all who wished me a happy birthday.

Au revoir Collonges

Every school year must come to a close.  So, here's a farewell to my fellow friends that will now be far away.

At the same time, a citation must be noted that a majority of the students in the language program were
female.  There were only 4 of us males from America.

Geneva English Church

Nearly every other Sabbath for the last few months I have been attending the Geneva English Church.  In summary, they were good times, great people, and I hope to meet them again.  Hope you enjoy a view inside.

MA Graduation Weekend

Two and half years later, I have finally completed my Master's at Southern with a double emphasis in Evangelism and Religious Studies. To my knowledge, I have been informed that I am the youngest of all their MA in Religion graduates (ever), the first (and so far the only) to do a double emphasis, and the first to be a member of the National Honor Society at the graduate level within the program. Praise God! All glory to His name. It is possible! Amen!

Visit to Bern and other places

Today, a good friend, Leandro, from the church I attend in Geneva decided it was time that I visit a little of Switzerland. So our first stop, Bern. We didn't stay too long, but I got to see the clock tick for the the little thing to come out. And then we saw the home of Albert Einstein.

After that we made our way to the Château d'Oex. It was pretty nice, except it was freezing cold. I felt bad for my friend. For some reason I was just exhausted. But afterwards, we went to what are now some of my favorite places in Europe - Montreux and La Ligniere. They were both wonderful. La Ligniere is an Adventist Clinique (Clinic) in Switzerland and rated one of the best private health care facilities in the entire country. Just an amazing place with a very interesting history. Anyway, enjoy the pictures!
